R.I.P. David Bowie … January 10 2016 – “David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief.” –David’s Facebook page.
Most will remember David for his unique style and his music. I’ll remember him for his introduction to the ‘Snowman‘ and his Christmas duo with Bing Crosby (Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy in 1977). Anyone who gave such an amazing intro to such an amazing movie as ‘Snowman’ has to have had a great heart. Farewell old friend, may you rest in peace. – David Brown
